§ 48-22. Installation of service pipes; water meter, curb stop and box required.

  • (a)

    The cost of installing and maintaining all service connections to the City water mains shall be at the expense of the property owner.

    (b)

    No service pipe shall be laid without a water meter, curb stop and box.

    (c)

    All work, including materials and meter, is subject to the approval of the Superintendent of Public Utilities.

    (d)

    The Superintendent of Public Utilities shall have the right to install or repair service lines or water meters when he deems it to the best interests of the City of Danbury, and the expense thereof shall be collected from the property owner by the City of Danbury.
