§ 6-84. Applicability; building code; retroactivity.

Swimming pool enclosures shall be constructed in accordance with the technical requirements and specifications of the provisions of this chapter and the State Building Code, as amended, and shall apply to any pool presently in existence and any pool built within the City subsequent to the date hereof. It is the specific intent hereof that this legislation be deemed expressly retroactive in order to accomplish the intent of protecting the health, safety and welfare of the community.
