§ 48-199. Use of storm drains.
(a)
These are in general intended to be used for conveying stormwater from streets, yards, and other ground surfaces, and from roofs. They may also be used for conveying subsoil drainage water, flow of natural springs, clean cooling water subject to approval of the Superintendent.
(b)
No person shall discharge or permit to be discharged any sanitary sewage, or industrial waste into a storm drain. No material, the discharge of which into natural streams, ponds, or lakes is prohibited by federal or state law or regulations, shall be discharged into any storm drain.
