§ 48-101. Applicability to present and future construction.

(a)

Waterworks projects under contract or construction. The provisions of this division shall not apply to waterworks projects under control or construction prior to the effective date of the ordinance from which this division is derived unless the City Council has by specific resolution to the contrary determined they must be covered hereby in compliance with the Charter of the City.

(b)

Buildings subsequently expanded or constructed. In the event a building is constructed or expanded after the initial assessment hereunder, the City Council may assess benefits against same as if said buildings or structures had existed at the time of the initial assessment.
