§ 42-128. Replacement of improvements within the limits of the highway or public property; repair of damages resulting from permit work.

  • The permittee, at his own expense, shall replace all improvements in equal or better condition, as compared to that which existed prior to commencement of work, and shall repair in kind any damage caused by his activities under a permit. Repair and replacement work shall be performed by or under the direction of the permittee and shall be supervised by the Superintendent of Highways. The replacement of any damaged or removed property monuments shall be done by a surveyor registered for such work in the State of Connecticut.
