§ 36-111. Purpose.

There is hereby established a program for the mandatory separation of recyclables from garbage or rubbish within the City to comply with Public Act 90-220 (codified in C.G.S. § 22a-207 et seq.) and subsequently adopted regulations mandating recycling, thereby providing for the health and welfare of the citizens of the City.
