§ 34-50. Zoning Commission alternates.

The election and terms of the three (3) alternate members of the Zoning Commission shall be governed by the Charter of the City. When seated as provided herein, such alternate members shall have all the powers and duties as set forth in C.G.S. title 8 (C.G.S. § 8-1 et seq.). If a regular member of the Zoning Commission is absent, the Chair of the Zoning Commission shall designate an alternate to act, choosing alternates in rotation so that they shall act as nearly equal a number of times as possible. If any alternate is not available in accordance with such rotation, such fact shall be recorded in the minutes of the meeting.
