Division 1. GENERALLY |
§ 30-102. Littering prohibited; penalty.
(a)
No person shall deposit, dump, throw, abandon, discard, discharge, place or cause to be deposited, dumped, thrown, abandoned, discarded, discharged or placed upon or in the waters of Lake Candlewood, or any of its tributaries, or upon the frozen surface thereof, within the City of Danbury, whether from a vessel or otherwise, any litter, including sewage, garbage, rubbish, refuse, trash, debris, abandoned properties, waste material, human excrements or any nauseous or offensive matter.
(b)
Any person who violates any provision of subsection (a) of this section, shall be fined ten dollars ($10.00) for the first such offense and shall be subject to the penalties provided for pursuant to the provisions of section 1-8 for each subsequent offense.
