§ 16-189. Revocation.

  • (a)

    A certificate of inspection shall be automatically revoked upon failure to pay the annual inspection fee.

    (b)

    Following the suspension of a certificate of inspection, the Director of Health may revoke any certificate of inspection required to operate a child care center or group day care home for failure to comply with any written order of the Director of Health requiring compliance with this article.

    (c)

    A written notice of the revocation shall be sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, or hand delivered to the establishment. The notice shall state that the certificate of inspection has been revoked and shall set forth the reasons for the revocation.

    (d)

    A revocation notice shall not be issued for at least five days after the suspension of the certificate of inspection.
